Nova Scotia tartan/ Cape Breton tartan
Nova Scotia tartan: The blue and white in the Tartan represent the sea, the greens represent the forests, the red represents the Royal Lion on the shield in the Arms of the Province and the gold represents the Province's Royal Charter.
Cape Breton tartan: The grey represents steel, green is for the mountains, valleys and fields and gold is for sunsets.
